Allowing :: Climate Change

dock_water

The most important component to success is … Being Ready! Many other great minds have considered and expounded upon this venerated topic from the angle of preparation, preparing or preparedness. They speak of books to read, education to receive, business plans to write or relationships to cultivate. Today, i introduce you to the easier angle (which is no angle, at all): Allowing!

Allowing by definition requires NO preparation. It is the antithesis of preparation. It is incongruous to strategize, plan or prepare for Allowing. While, at the same time we readily admit  that hindsight may reveal to you a process which through a neophyte’s prism might seem separately interlinked experiences which form as a chain of preparation.

To gain greater clarity, let us consider for a moment RECEIVING. It is often discussed as a two step process: believe and receive. The Art of Thrival teaches that the process is short-circuited when we fail to consider the role of FAITH as integral and concomitant to the process.

FAITH is the attitude one brings in order to exhibit the BELIEF necessary to RECEIVE or physically manifest a dream/thought/whisper/prayer. Think of it as a trinity. All in one and one in all.

Imagine water! FAITH is water in vapor form, BELIEF is water in liquid form and RECEIVE is water in frozen form. All exist as the same element, taking on different forms, textures and definitions depending on environmental conditions. It is only in the frozen form that the human eye can witness all three states at once. Yet, they were there all the time… existing as infinite possibilities.

Now consider for a moment, the petri dish/culture as your human experience. environment… it’s a conversation better had in the comfort of kindred spirits sharing in the experience of one of our Perfect :: the Revolution workshops or our progressive Art of Thrival weekend retreats.  Suffice to say, the moment in which you allow that water IS, you are then able to manipulate, manifest and witness the astounding possibilities that were there all the time. You are the Climate Change to which your world responds and takes form.  Your feelings are both themometer and thermostatAllowing is your highest state of readiness, therefore your greatest tool and vehicle to your success.

We look forward to sharing in the building of your bridge from dream to reality, from wish to actuality, from desire to manifestation.

Sometimes, You Go All In

sunrise_sunset

There’s a concept i often speak of in reference to intentionality or LIFE on Purpose that i call being completely present in the moment.  Recently, i was called to reflect on the many and varied ways that i have come to experience this over my short and expansive LIFE journey.

I grew up in the Gospel Church… which is not to be confused with nor compared to traditional Christianity by American standards.  As i watched a YouTube video shared with me by a friend, i recalled the instances of an OVERWHELMING suddenness of presence in which i felt completely and utterly removed from the external stimuli, yet was simultaneously at ONE with all of the sounds, actions and experiences not only in my immediate surroundings… but rather, i felt connected in an infinite way to every creature, being and breath on the planet.

Over the years i’ve had other similar experiences in totally different environs and circumstances, which has led me to a broader appreciation of the phenomenon.  Yet, the consistent theme and memory that burned in me as i watched this video was the irresistible, irrepressible, irrefutable urge to Just Go All In! I have and continue to pursue a course of growth ,wherein i am able to command my entree into those portals of joy, rather than stumbling aimlessly, wistfully and blindly for the perchance encounter with the moment once again.  This i call LIFE (Living In Full Enjoyment) practiced through the Art of Thrival.  No matter how you choose to get there, the rush and subsequent call to return to the  moment again and again… is REAL.

Klik on the pic to experience the video that got me remembering again…  Sometimes You Just Gotta Go All In!

I seem to recall being in the choir when this song came out.  I recall the choir director Karen Daugherty taking us to another level with her impassioned urgings and vocalizations.  She was awesome, it was good times.  (If you remember who sang the lead comment me back ~ I think it was Karen!)

Your Ship Has Finally Come!

Royal-Denship-Princess-Mariana

Your ship has come in at the very moment you decide that you are perfect … yet, not complete.

Like attracts like. The pleasing thoughts of your perfection (and perfecting) will attract to them (and you) more wonderful and intentional events and opportunities of like energy (pleasing).  Don’t wait to SEE things as you would like them to be.  Attract goodness to you, by FINDING things to feel good about , even in the midst of  your world’s turmoil and chaos.

BE SURE TO ENJOY THE INSPIRATION BEHIND EACH PIC (make sure and click).

This is only a Test

hear_no_evil_see_no_evil_speak_no_evilLast week, i caught myself.  I was preparing to complain about the driving of my kindly chauffeur du jour.  I paused momentarily to consider how readily the thoughts of her seemingly poorly acclimated vehicle maneuvering techniques, managed to land the truck squarely in every newly uncovered pothole in a very wide street.

In that moment i wondered, “how quiet would my day be, if i never spoke of any one’s failings, misadventures, calamities or foibles?”  Hmmm, interesting premise for a Hollywood movie.  Anyway, i’ve started living the “TEST” and i must say it’s been insanely challenging, fabulously rewarding and fairly quiet/serene.  Therefore, i challenge you to discover the other side of that wondering.  Go ahead, it’s only a TEST.

It’s The Journey, Stoopid!

life highway signLeaving from your door each day you set out, ultimately to arrive home in the evening or morning from a day’s labor, errands, visits or the like. The unveiling of the “stuff in the middle” is neither assured nor inevitable. The details that spring upon you as the day unfolds, gives rise to anxiety, anger, frustration, fear, laughter, joy, hope, satisfaction and dissatisfaction or any combination of a broad range of emotional possibilities. At the end, you are home, as you had planned.

Upon reflection, you assess the day’s unfurling as worthwhile … at least enough to do it again the next day. The happenings of LIFE occur in between the known variables of origin and destination. Yet, so much attention of our society is focused on the evaluation of LIFE based on the perceived proximity to a destination. Through that logic, leaving from your origin (and ultimate destination, in this case) should probably be considered ill-advised, as your proximity to your destination increases, putting you further from your goal… home.

the journey unfoldsHaving stumbled upon this self-inflicted lunacy, I began to be intentionally irreverent and disrespectful with myself in private conversation with … of course, myself. Some time ago a politico coined a term; “It’s the economy stupid,” in addressing what is and should be the obvious and main talking point concern of that campaign. So, one morning as I meandered through yet another waking routine, I shocked myself into a state of “presence in the moment by declaring “It’s the journey, stoopid!”

I no longer leave the house to arrive, anywhere. I leave for the experience of the journey. Certainly, I have a general outline of exciting points and sites I’d like to experience and explore. Yet, moreover, I give myself to the fluidity of the unexpected, unplanned and most rewarding of gifts to be bestowed upon humanity … choice. I find God, the Source, the All, peace, serenity, joy and happiness in the daily drama and circumstance of the choice, made manifest in the minuscule shaping of a moment.

We offer for consideration, leave this moment for the full experience of another; an experience and growth that can only be known in the journey of your choice.

BE the Miracle

Our lives are miraculous manifestations of a thought.  Consider for a moment, the intricate workings of the machinery that is our heart.  Imagine, if you will, the effortless rhythmic syncopation of its beat when you experience excitement or a warm feeling of joy. Ponder the hiccup of its transcendent monotony when startled or frightened.

Yet, its precise and continuous flow and recovery assures that you spend almost zero hours of your life contemplating its irreplaceable functioning.

It was a simple thought that gave rise to your birth.  If we would again embrace the power that flows through the expression of the mind, we would immerse ourselves in the daily experiences of joy that loom on each horizon … only a thought away.

In this moment … BE the miracle you are meant to be.  Live the freedom of your heart’s longing.  Share the song of laughter that resounds in your soul and your reality will be simply MIRACULOUS.  Laughter abounds where the heart runs free.

peace be the journey

An “Ah-Hah” Moment

One Day Crowds Will Cheer ... just keep showing up.

So, i’m feeling sorta melancholy 2Day.  Started off the day with slightly less than vibrant enthusiasm for confronting the challenge that drove me to a deep sleep, after hours  of wrangling, hopeful for a glorious morning resolution, sparked by the dawning of freshness in a new day.  Yeah, right.  Still, i wrangle.

In a brief timeout search, for new ways to conquer the web design issue cum consuming force, i stumbled upon what is to become my awareness for the day and foundation for a hopeful tomorrow.  I was enlightened in reading a blog post over at schmutzie.com, entitled “Keep Showing Up”.  I thoroughly enjoy participating in the day-by-day, moment-to-moment, revealing communications that serve as sign posts and guiding stanchions to funnel me into the greatness of ME.

So, today i took with me into my marathon business strategy/planning meeting for our latest seminar series, an attitude of gratitude and the pugnacious fervor to just keep showing up.  It was a joyous outcome (i do so enjoy those) that rode the waves of a refreshing “Ah-hah” moment.
